Gurudev's memorandum to Simon Commission, 1929

We, the undersigned on behalf of the Bodo Community of the district of Goalpara of Assam beg to submit the following memorandum. Some of the important points are touching the enquiry with a special reference to the district of Goalpara and the Bodo Community of the said district.

1. That the Bodo Community forms a considerable portion of the population of the district of Goalpara and its numbers about 1 lakh 50 thousand. In the whole province of Assam its numbers are almost eight lakhs. A large numbers of Bodos live in the district of Jalpaiguri and Cochbihar in the province of Bengal. Out of one lakh and fifty thousand, some thousands have been treated as Hindus which is the cause of decrease in number of the Bodo population of the district of Goalpara. The Bodos have a distinct civilization of their own. There should be a separate category as ‘the Bodos’ in the census report. The history shows very clearly the part of this community has been playing in the history of Assam during the time of the great Epic, the Mahabharata. Many kings who rule over Assam belonged to this race. Bhismak raja, Bali raja, Ban raja and Viswa Singha all belonged to this race they were.

2. The people of this race are born warriors and even now many people have names in the military under the British Government. The original proprietor of the Bijini Estate and Cochbihar Estate were people of this race. But in the course of time, they styled themselves Hindus, there Estate still exist but are totally ignored. We belong backwards, failed together the opinion of our community before. So we could not submit the memorandum in time and we hope that you will be pleased to accept it and to consider it favorably for decisions as regards Indian constitution, will make a distinctly new stage in our political life.

3. Electorate: In our opinion, there should not be mixed electorate. Each section of the people should have the liberty of sending in their representatives in the local councils. The peculiar position in which we are placed offers as practically no change of sending our representatives in which, though there is a large numbers of voters in our community. Out of the total population of the whole district of Goalpara which numbers about six lakhs eighty five thousand eight hundred and eighty two. Three lakhs sixty-nine thousand three hundred ninety seven full under the head of non Mohammadians. Non- Mohammadians mean Hindus, Christian, Jains, Sikhs, and the like. A liberal view of the thing shows that we cannot enjoy the advantages of their form as the other community does. In spite of our being in such a large number all advantages of the reform are being enjoyed either by the Brahmins or by the Khatriyas or by the Sudras. So in order to safeguard the interest of our community we should have a separate representative in the council.

4. In our opinion, there should not be second chamber in the local council.

5. At present there are certain restrictions which debar many to exercise their right of franchise this should be removed and more liberty be given for the purpose. There should be four seats in the central legislature. One for Mohammadians and three for non-Mohammadians; and one of the three non-Mohammadians seats should be reserved for Bodos of Assam.

6. Territorial Pre-distribution – Some interested person of our district are agitating for the transfer of the district of Goalpara over to Bengal. So far as we are concerned, we opposed to it. Goalpara is a part and parcel of Assam and history will prove what part she has been playing since the time immemorial. The habits and customs of the people of this district are more akin to Assamese than to Bengalees. We the Bodos can by no means call ourselves other than Assamese. The transfer of this district to Bengal will be prejudicial to the interest not only of this community but all the other community and this transfer will but seriously hamper our progress in all directions.

7. We also desire to put it before you that there be a sub-division either at Kokrajhar or at Hultugaon within the sub-division of Dhubri, this community should be benefited as “Listed community and more opening of employment avowers be given.

8. Education and appointment- We the undersigned beg to lay before you that this community should receive special treatment at the hands of Government in matters of education and appointment. Our community is most backward in point of education. Such being the case, our people are always misled. They cannot save themselves from the hands of foreign money lenders. To move this drawback there should be compulsory pre-primary education and special scholarship for going facility for higher education to Bodo -Student be provided for. As stated before, a large number of our people are serving the military and thereby rendering loyal service to the British Government. We claim certain provincial and executive posts for some of our people who are getting higher education.

9. A large number of Bodo sepoys are included in the Gurkha-regiment and are generally known as Bodo. To our opinion, there should be a separate regiment as the ‘Bodo Regiment’ for the Bodo - people of Assam.

10. Local Boards – The chairman of the Board during the term of their office- Big land holder should not be allowed to stand for election from general constituency. There is no objection if they are given special seats in the Boards.

11. In matters of Board election under the Dhubri local Board, our community should have separate electorate just like the Mohammnadians – under the Thanas of Bilasipara, Kokrajhar, Bijni and Dhubri. The Bodo -people who are in the majority in those areas should have separate seats at the Dhubri local- Board. As stated before, our people are illiterate and ignorant. So they are easily misled by other at the time of elections and consequently, the people of other communities are elected. In view of the illiteracy, ignorance and influence of other communities we earnestly pray so that we get separate seats in Dhubri Local-Board. So is also the condition of Goalpara Local-Board. There too we want separate seats.

12. In conclusion, we beg to lay before you that, if required, any one of us is willing to appear before you and to and give evidence.

1. गवालपारा जिलानि सुबुं अनजिमा महरै बर माहारिआ मखजाथाव बाहागो आरो बेनि अनजिमाया 1 लाक 50 रोजा फ्राम। गासै आसामनि खुंथायारि हालामाव बेनि अनजिमाया दाइन लाकफ्राम। गोबां अनजिमानि बरफोरा बेंगल खुंथायारि हालामनि जलफायगुरु आरो कजबिहार जिलायाव थायो। से लाक बाजि रोजानि अनगायै माखासे रोजा रोजा फोरखौ हिन्दु महरै दिन्थिनाय (लानाय) जायनाखि गवालपारा जिलानि बरफोरनि अनजिमाखौ इसेल जानायनि जाहोन। बरफोरहा गावसोरनि आलादा सोदोमस्रि दं। सुबुं सान्खो लिरबिदांआव बरफोरनि थाखाय बर हिसाबै आलादा बाहागो थानांगौ। जारिमिनआ जोबोर रोखायै फोरमायदों- बि फोलेरनि माखासेआ सलन्थाइमा महाभारतनि समनिफ्राइनो आसामनि जारिमिनआव बाहागो लाबोदों। आसामखौ समलाइबोनाय गोबां राजाफोरानो बेफोलेरनि। भिष्क राजा, बालि राजा आरो विषश्व संह गासैबो बेफोलेरनिमोन।  
2. बे फोलेरनि सुबुंफोरा दावहारु महरै जोनोम मोन्दों आरो दाबो गोबां सुबुंफोरा ब्रिटिश सरकारनि सान्थ्रि हान्जायाव मुं दं। बिजिनि हालाम आरो कसबिहार हालामनि गुबै बिगोमाया बे फोलेरनि सुबुंमोन। नाथाइ समनि बोहैनायाव, बिसोर गावखौनो हिन्दुनि महर होदों। बिसोरनि हालामा (हाफोरा) दाबो दं नाथाइ गाज्रियै नासय जानाय। जों गोदोसोनाय, जों सिगांआव खौसेयै माहारिनि बाथ्राखौ फोरमायनो हायाखै। बेनिखायनो जों गोसोखां बिलाइखौ थि समाव गथाइनो हायाखै आरो जों मिजिंथियो नोंथाङा बेखौ आजावगोन आरो भारतारि संबिजिरनि हिसाबै सावराइनो आखायाव लागो, जाय रोखायै जोंनि राजखान्थिआरि जिउआव गोदान बुब्लि लाबोगोन।
3. बिसाइखथि बियाब- जोंनि बिबुंथि बादिब्ला, जथाइ बिसाइखथि बियाब थानो नाङा। गासैबो थाखोनि सुबुंफोरा हालामनि आफादफोराव गावसोरनि बिजाथि दैथाइ हरनायनि मोन्थाइ थानो नांगौ। मोनसे जुनिया बिथाथि, जेराव जोंनो होनाय जायो जेराव जोंहा गुबैयै बिजाथि दैथाय हरनो हानायनि जेबो राहा गैया, जुदिउ जोंनि माहारिनि गेजेराव गोबां अनजिमानि भत होगिरि दंब्लाबो जाय गवालपारा जिलानि गासै सुबुं अनजिमानि द लाक दाइजिबा रोजा दाइजौ दाइजिनै। थाम लाक दजिगु रोजा थामजौ गुजिस्निआ मुसलमान नङैफोरनि आखायाव। मुसलमान नङैनि ओंथिआ जाबाय हिन्दु, क्रिष्तियान, जैन, सिक आरो बे रोखोम। उदारै नोजोर होयोब्ला नुयोदि- गुबुन माहारिफोरा जेरै लादों बे बायदि जों गुस्लाइनायनि (reform) खाबुखौ लाना रंजानो हाया। बेनि सोलायै गोबां अनजिमा थानानैबो गासै गुस्लाइनायनि (reform) खाबुफोरखौ ब्राम्णफोर एबा कथ्रिअ एबा सुद्रफोरासो रंजागासिनो। बेनिखायनो जोंनि माहारिनि थामोन्थाखौ रैखाथि होनो थाखाय जोंहा काउनसिल आव आलादा बिजाथि थानो नांगौ।
4. जोंनि बिबुंथि बादिब्ला जायगानि आफाद (local council) आव जेबो नैथि खलब थानो नाङा।
5. दायो माखासे हेंथाफोर दं जायनि जाहोनाव गोबांखौनो गाव गावनि मोन्थाइखौ मोनफुंनायनिफ्राइ गोजानाव दोनो, जायफोरखौ बोस्रांनो नांगौ आरो बेनि थाखायनो बांसिनै उदांस्रि होनो नांगौ। मिरुनि आयेनारि आफाद/संसद (central legislature) आव मोनब्रै सिट थानो नांगौ। मोनसेआ मुसलमानफोरनि थाखाय आरो गुबुन मोनथामआ मुसलमान नङैफोरनि थाखाय आरो बे मोनथाम मुसलमान नङैफोरनि मोनसेआ आसामनि बरफोरनि थाखाय थि (reserved) जानोनांगौ।
6. हायुंआरि रानसारथि- जोंनि जिलानि माखासे गोसो गुदुं सुबुंफोरा गवलपारा जिलाखौ बेंगलजों दाजाबनायनो थाखाय खुद्रिदों। बबेखानि जों बेखौ हेंथा होयो। गवालपाराया आसामनि आंगो आरो बाहागो आरो बेयो गोलाव समनिफेरायनो माबादि बाहागो लाबोदों बेखौ जारिमिनआनो फोरमान होगोन। बे जिलानि सुबुंफोरनि हुदा आरो आसारखान्थिफोरा बेंगलिफोरनिख्रुइ असमियाफोरजों गोरोबसिनो। जों बरफोरा जिखेजाया जाहोनावनो गावसोरखौ असमियानि अनगा गुबुन होननानै लाया। बे जिलाखौ बेंगलजों बुजाबनाया बे माहारिनि थामोनथानिल अन्याय नङा नाथाइ गासै माहारिनिनो आरो बे बुजाबनाया जोंनि गायै बिथिंआवनो जौगानायाव गाज्रियै हेंथा होगोन।
7. जों आरोबाव नोंथांनि सिगांआव फोरमाइनो लुगैयोदि, धुबुरि साब-डिभिजननि सिङाव कक्राझार नङाबा हलतुगावआव मोनसे साब-डिभिजन थानो नांगौ।  बे माहारिआ फारिथि माहारि हिसाबै मुलाम्पा जानो नांगौ आरो थिसननायआव बांसिनै राहा होनो नांगौ।
8. सोलोंथाइ आरो थिसननाय- जों सागान होगिरिफोरा नोंथांनि सिगांआव आरज खालामोदि बे माहारिआ सरकारनिफ्राय सोलोंथाइ आरो थिसननायाव जुनिया बान्जायनाय मोननो नांगौ। जोंनि माहारिआ सोलोंथाइनि बिथिंआव जोबोर गोग्लैसोनाय। बेनि जाहोनावनो जोंनि सुबुंफोरा जेब्लाबो आन्दाय होजायो। बिसोर गुबुनारि रां दाहार होगिरिफोरनिफ्राइ गावसोरखौ रैखा खालामनो हाया। बे जेंनाखौ सुस्रांनो थाखाय लाथारनो गोनां (compulsory) गिबि-गुदि सोलोंथाइ आरो गोजौ सोलोंथाइ लानाय बर फराइसाफोरनि थाखाय जुनिया रांबान्था (Scholarship) थानो नांगौ। सिगांआव फोरमायनाय बादि गोबां अनजिमानि जोंनि सुबुंफोरा रौनिया हान्जायाव हाबा मावदों आरो बेबादिनो ब्रितिस सरकारनि थाखाय सोद्रोमै हाबा मावबोदों। जों माखासे हायुंआरि आरो मावफुं बिबान (post) खौबो जोंनि गोजौ सोलोंथाइ लानाय सुबुंफोरनि थाखाय दाबि खालामनो।
9. गोबां अनजिमानि बर सान्थ्रिफोरा गुरखा रेजिमेन्तआव सोसन जादों आरो बिसोरखौ गुबैयै बर होननानै मिथियो। जोंनि बिबुंथि बादिब्ला, आसामनि बरफोरनि थाखाय आलादा बर रेजिमेन्त मुङै मोनसे रेजिमेन्त थानांगौ।
10. ओनसोलारि बर्ड (Local Boards)- मावखनि समाव बर्डनि मासिगिरि- गोबां हा थानायफोरखौ सरासनस्रा समसतिनिफ्राय बिसाइखथिआव बाहागो लाहोनो नाङा। जुदि बिसोरनि थाखाय आलादा मासि होयोब्ला जोंहा जेबो हेंथा गैया।
11. धुबुरि आनसोलारि बर्डनि बर्ड बिसाइखथिनि बेलायाव जोंनि माहारिहा आलादा बिसाइखथि बियाब थानो नांगौ- बिलासिपारा, कक्राझार, बिजिनि आरो धुबुरि तानानि सिंआव - जेरै मुसलमानफोरहा दं । बर सुबुंफोरा जायफोर जायगाफोराव बांसिन बैफोराव धुबुरि ओनसोलारि बर्डनि थाखाय आलादा सिट थानो नांगौ। सिगांआव फोरमायनाय बादि जोंनि सुबुंफोरा सोलोंथाइ गैयै आरो नासय जानाय। बेखायनो बिसोरो गुबुनफोरजों गोरलैयैनो बिसाइय़थिनि समाव आन्दाय होजायो आरो जाउनाव गुबुन माहारिनि सुबुंफोरा साइख जायो। सोलोंथाइ गैयै, नासयजानाय आरो गुबुन माहारिफोरनि गोहोमखौ नोजोर होननानै जों जोबोर मिजिंजों आरज खालामो जाहाते जों धुबुरि ओनसोलारि बर्डनि थाखाय आलादा सिट मोनो। आरो गवालपारा ओनसोलारि बर्डआवबो बे बादिनो। बेआवबो जोंनो आलादा सिट नांगौ।
12. जोबनायाव, जों नोंथांनि सिगांआव आरज खालामोदि, जुदि गोनां जायोब्ला, जोंनि जायखिजाया सासेआ नोंथांनि सिगांआव नुजाथिनो गोसो जायो आरो फोरमान होनो सानो।

जोंनि जिउ एबा जोनोमा मोनसे गेदेर सोंलु सिनजों रुजुजायो। थांना थानाय जिउ मोनसेयाव जोंनि सोलोंनो एबा मिथिनो गोनां आयदाफोरा जोबा। जों गोथौयै साननानै नायोब्ला मिथिनो एबा हमदांनो हायो। सुबुंनि बे जिउआ नागिरनायजों आबुं। जों जिउखौ एरैबादि मोन्दाङो, जों माबा नङा माबा नागिरबायो। बे नागिरनाया थुंगे गैयै (जोंनि जिउआ थुंगे गैयै नागिरनायजों बुंफबनाय) आबुं। गोबां आयदायाव दिनै सुबुंआ जौगानो हादोंब्लाबो बेफोर आयदाफोरखौ दासिमबो आबुङै बिजिरनो हाजोबाखै। मानसिया गावनि नाजानायजों दिनै दाउफोरबायदि अख्राङाव बिरनो हादोंब्लाबो, नाफोर बायदि लैथोमानि बिखायाव सानस्रिनो हादोंब्लाबो मानसिया दिनैबो गावखौनो आबुङै सिनायनो, मिथिनो हाजोबाखै। नागिरो गोसोआ, लुबैयो मिथिनो। थारै आं सोर ? सोरमार ? बबेनिफ्राय फैदों ? थैनानै थांब्ला बहा थांगोन ? बबे गोहोआ जोंखौ दैदेनदों, मिथिस्लाबै बबे गोहोआ गोमानायाव जों गोग्लैसोनानै थानो गोनां जायो। बेयो जोंनि सुबुं जिउनि मिथिस हायै आन्दो गुमुर। जों जोंनि गोसो अन्तराव बे गेदेर सोंलुआ बेरखांनायखौ जेब्ला गोर्बोजों मोन्दाङो, अब्लानिफ्रायनो जागाय जेनो मोनसे गोदान मुलुगनि दावबायनाय। जाय मुलुगा आध्यात्मिक रहस्यजों आबुङै साग्लोबसारनाय। बेनि गुन गोहो सैथोथिजों आबुङै बुंफबनानै थानाय बे गोदान मुलुगाव आगान होयोब्ला जोंनि जिउआव अरायथा गोजोननाया फैयो। सास्त्र बिजाबफोराव बे अरायथा गोजोननायखौनो सोर्गो बुंदों। जों थांना थानाय जिउआवनो सोर्गोखौ मोननो एबा नायनो नाजानांगौ। थैनानै थांखांनायनि उनाव जों बेनि जेबो मोन्दांथिखौ मिथिना मोना। गोथांनिफ्राय गोथैयाव सोलायनाया देहानि सोलायनायलसो (रुपान्तर)। जिउनि थैनायखौ फोरमाया। थांना थानाय समाव सत हाबा मावनो रोङाखैब्ला, थैना थांनायनि उनाव सुबुङा अरायथा गोजोननायखौ मोननाय नङा। थांना थानाय जिउआवनो गोजोन खुसि जानो हायाब्ला थैनायनि उनाव गोजोनखौ माबोरै मोननो ? बेयो माब्लाबाबो जाथावा। मानसिया मावनो हायै जेबो खामानि गैया होननानै बुंदोंब्लाबो मानसिआ दिनैबो गावनि सिथ्लायावनो सौथुनानै थैनायनिफ्रायबो बारगआखै।

मोनबा ज्ञान इन्द्रिय- मेगन, खोमा, गन्थं, सालाइ, बिगुरजों हमदांस हायै आरो मोनबा कर्म इन्द्रिय- आखाय, आथिं, खुगा, खिग्रा आरो आथोननि बाहागोजों मोन्दांस'नो हायै (Out of human organs) बिउ आरो जिउमानि गोहोखौ मोनदांनाय एबा सिनायनाया गोरलै नङा। जोंनि गथा देहायाव हाबनानै थानाय सोमोनांथाव मिहिसिन (सुक्ष्मतम) गुनआ जोंखौ दैदेनदों, बेखौ गियान मेगन (Third Eye) जोंसो मोन्दां हायो।

सरासनस्रायै गावखौ दबथायनाय, ह्थानाय, एंगारनाय, बाउसोमनाय गुनफोरखौ सोरजिनानै लानो हायोब्लानो जों गोजोन मोन्नो हायो। नाथाय अरायथा गोजोनखौ मोननो नांगौब्ला जों जोंनि थांना थानाय जिउआव मावनो गोनां सास्त्रनि गोबां बाथ्राफोरखौ मिथिनो गोनांथार। देहा गोनां जिउ मोनसेयाव मिहिसिन (सुक्ष्मतम) जिउमा गोहोजों लोगो मोनलायनायनि माखासे गाहा लामाफोर दं। बेखौ लोगो मोन्नो नांगौब्ला जों बेनिनो महर लानो नांगोन थामहिनबा मिहि जानो नगंगोन। नाथाय थांना थासान्दि, बे गथा सोलेरखौ जों मिहि खालामनो हाया। जोंनि गथा सोलेर आरो गोसोखौ दैदेनग्रा मोन्द रिपुखौ दबथायनो हायोब्लानो मिहि गुनफोरा गावनो गाव बेरखांबोयो। बे मोनद रिपुखौ दबथायनो थाखाय जों गाहायनि माखासे राहाफोरखौ लानो हायो। जेरै-
1. नित्यनि हाबायाव नांथाबनाय।
2. जानाय आदारखौ सायखनानै जानाय।
3. जिउ-जिउमा गुबुन नङै गियानजों सोलिनाय।
4. ॐ –कार जप, प्रणायाम खालामनाय।
5. बेनिनो मोदानफबनाय महरखौ थालोआव लानानै लक्षआव जेब्लाबो नांथाबनाय एबा ज्योति धारन खालामनाय।

मेंनाय बानाय – मोजोमनाय, आंगायनाय गैयाजासे बेफोरखौ आदरै गथि-गथि मावफुंनो नाजाग्रायानो गेदेमा साधु एबा थार भक्ट आरो बेखौ मावफुंब्लासो मिथिगोन मोन्दांसनो हायै मायाजों साग्लोबनाय जिउ आरो जिउमानि आन्दो गुमुरखौ।######

सोमोनांथाव बे मुलुग संसाराव जोंनि बे जिउमाया मानसि महरै दान्दिसेनि थाखायल’ जोनोम लानानै जोबनो रोङै बायदि हास्थायनानै थार एबा सैथो लोगोखौनो सायख’ना लानो आन्दायो। जाउनाव इयुनावसो उनदाहा मोननो गोनां जायो। गाहायनि सुंद’ सल’खौ फरायोब्ला बुजिगोन होनना आं सानो। सल’आ एरैबादि- सासे सदागरआ साथाम लोगो दङमोन। बिसोरनि सेथिजों एरैबादि लोगोमोनदि- सदागरआ साननि, हरनि माब्लाबाबो बिखौ नागार थारामोन। जायखौ Full Time लोगो होननानै मिथिजायो। नैथिखौ Part Time लोगो, जेरै सेथि लोगोजों जेसेबां सम लोगो जायो बेनि खावसे सम। थेवब्लाबो असे लोगोमोन। थामथिजों नाथाय माब्लाबा समावल’ लोगो जायोमोन। बांसिन समावनो बिखौ गोसो खाङामोन। थामहिनबा गोजाननि लोगो। सानसेखालिनि बाथ्रा, सदागरनाव बिजिरसालिनि बिजिरगिरिनिफ्राय गांसे लायजाम सफैनायसैदि, बियो (सदागरआ) मोनसे दायनि थाखाय बिजिरसालियाव थांनानै बिजिरगिरिनि सिगांआव दाय गैयैनि फोरमान हैनांगौमोन। सदागरनो होमब्ला साखिनि गोनांथि जागारबाय। बियो गावनि बै सेथि लोगोखौ गावजों साखि महरै थांफानो लिंनायसै। नाथाय बिनि लोगोआ थांफानो राजि जायाखिसै। बियो बुंगारबायसो, नोंजों आं अरायसम लोगो महरै थाफायोब्लाबो बे समाव नोंजों थांफानो हानाय नङा, अदेबानि आं नोंनि न’नि लांगोनाखौनो बारनो हानाय नङा। सदागरआ अब्ला गाबा मोखां जानानै थांनायसै नैथि लोगोनि खाथिआव। लांनायसै बिखौबो गावजों थांफानो साखि महरै। नाथाय....! बिबो सदागरजों थांफानानै साखि जाहैनो राजि जायाखिसै। बिबो बुंनायसै आं नोंजों बिजिरसालिनि लांगोनासिमल’ थांफानो हागोन, नाथाय़ सिङाव हाबनानै साखि महरै गसंहैनो हानाय नङा। सिबाय सदागर, हालाय-हाफाय जानांबाय। सोरखौ मोनबावगोन, सोरखौ लिंबावगोन, असे लोगोफ्रानो खुगासो फेनबाय जेब्ला सोरनिखाथिआव थांनानै खावलाय हैबावनो। उन्थाराव बियो सासु-मासु गावनि थामथि लोगोनि खाथियाव थांनानै फोरमाय हैनायसै। थामथि लोगोआबो मिनिस्लु जानानै बुंनायसै- नोंनि असे लोगोफ्रानो नोंखौ म’दद होनो नागिराखिसैब्ला आंनिफ्रायलाय माबोरैथो मदद लुबैबावखो सदागरआ अब्ला मोदै र’थ-र’थ गाबनो हमनायसै। बिनि बेबायदि हालोदखौ नुना लोगोआ अब्ला बुंनायसै। नों जिंगा सिनो नाङा, आं नोंजों साखि महरै थांफानो हागोन। नाथाय आं नोंनि सोमोन्दै जेखौ मिथियो बेखौल’ मिथिहोनो हागोन। बेबायदिनो सदागरनि थामथि लोगोआसो बिनि नांगौ समाव गावनि लोगोनि थार हाबाखौ मावफुंनायसै। 
बेनि साथाम लोगोफोरनि सेथिआ जाबाय धोन-दौलत एबा रां-रुपा। सुबुं जिउआ धोन-दौलत एबा रां-रुपाखौनो सिमा गैयाजासे अराय सम मोननो हास्थायो। एंगारनो हायै गावनि असे लोगो बायदि। नाथाय, बे सुबुं जिउआ मुलुगनिफ्राय जेब्ला थांनायनि सम जागोन, गावनि असे होननानै बुंबोनाय बैफोर धोन-दौलतफोरखौ गावजों लोगोसे लांफानो हामारो ना ?
नैथि लोगोनि आखुजों सुबुं जिउनि बाय-बाहागिफोरखौ (नखरनि सुबुंफोरखौ) बुंनाय जादों। धोन-दौलतनि उनाव बयबो गाव-गावनि बाय-बाहागिफोरखौ गोबांसिनै हास्थायो असे होननानै। जेब्ला बे सुबुं जिउनि जोबथा समा फैयो, अब्ला बिनि बाय-बाहागिफोरखौबो असे होननानै बै (सोरगो एबा परमात्मा) फुरिसिम लांफोनो हाया। जिउआ गालांनाय बिनि गोथै देहाखौ बाय-बाहागिफोरा गोथौसालि (सल’आव बिजिरसालिनि लांगोना) सिमल’ थांफानो हायो। बिजिरसालि (बै फुरि) निसिम बिसोरबो थांफानो हाया। अब्ला बिनि नैथि लोगोआबो बेसेबां असे ?
सदागरनि थामथि लोगोनि आखुआ बेयाव धोरोमखौ बुंनाय जादों। सुबुं जिउआ रां-रुपा, बाय-बाहागिफोरखौल’ गावनि असे साननानै धोरोमनि (थामथि लोगो) फारसे बावगार लाङो। जाय लोगोआसो सुबुं जिउ (सल’आव सदागर) जों बिजिरसालि सिम थांफाना जाउमा (बिजिरगिरि) नि खाथियाव साखि महरै गसंहैफानो हायो। बै असे लोगो एबा सैथो धोरोमखौ जों मानो बावगारना थाबावनो। बेनिखायनो बे मुलुग संसाराव दान्दिसेनि थाखाय जोनोम मोननाय सुबुं जिउ महरै सैथो धोरोमखौ सिनायनानै  बेखौ गावनि थार एबा असे खालामनानै अराय सम बेखौ ब’जबनानै बिनि दैबथिंनाय लामाजों आवगाय लाङोब्ला थारैनो बे सुबुं जिउआ जोनोम लानायनि थार-गाहामसिन फिथाइखौदि मोनथारगोन, बेयो हले अराय सैथोखा। ######

Some Texts from Bhagavad Gita



Bhagavad Gita is one of the most renowned spiritual wisdom in Hindu as well as Indian religious scriptures (Bhagavad Gita=God’s Knowledge). It is also known for one of the most influential books in human spiritual development. I personally, also very much motivated by the teachings and conversation between Lord Krishna and His dearest devotee Arjuna which is comprised of eighteen chapters of various lessons. Sometimes it is also said that, this conversation is between the mind and the soul; mind as Arjuna and soul as Krishna. This conversation was took place when Arjuna refused to fight against his uncle’s sons Duryodhana and his aligned group in the battle field of Kuruksetra. His mind was so depressed and confused that he was feeling better to live as common people although he was a prince warrior. By looking Arjuna’s such broken hearted Lord Krishna taught him from various grounds to performed his own duties without thinking for any other reasons; one should do his duties without any condition. There are deep lessons that can be learnt from their conversations which can give a path in our practical life. We all are like Arjuna that weaken our self because of over thinking towards the result of an action and fails to do right duties and right decisions in right time. Here, I picked-up some of the important texts which are useful lessons to become a successful one in life. With different motives different scholars have explained the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita in slightly different way. Here, I am going to discuss the simple and practically important lessons in short of the texts without entering deep spiritual meanings.
Looking distressed Arjuna, Lord Krishna said, “Considering your specific duty as a ksatriya, you should know that there is no better engagement for you than fighting on religious principles; and so there is no need for hesitation”. Arjuna was a prince and a warrior too. Therefore, his foremost duty at the battle field was to fight against his enemy. The battle happening in Kuruksetra was not only the matter of kingdom but also the fight in between the justice and injustice, truth and untruth. And fighting against the warriors of Duryodhana was not only the matter of personal thing but also the matter of re-establishment of religion, justice and to give victory of the truth. Therefore, Lord Krishna told Arjuna to follow his duties for the welfare of the nation, for the security of justice and truth without any bewildered and engaged in the battle. In another sense Kuruksetra was a field of work rather than battle field that everyone do something good or bad; right or wrong in life. When we come out for work such situations arises in our daily life. Many times we faced problems and confused to figure out the right duty of our-self. In such situation a person should have the knowledge of the thing that, at that moment which is ones foremost duty and knowing that one should perform it without hesitation or laziness. On the other hand, our mind also a kind of battle field like Kuruksetra, where the mindset due to our physical senses and the soul fights. And the side who win in this battle, a person become the follower of it.  Our mind is very unstable and it always tries to satisfy itself. Therefore, before doing or deciding anything one should justify the truth with peaceful state. To control and to have steadiness one should practice some procedures like yoga. Such steady state of mind creates useful notions at right moments and makes a follower of justice and truth.
Continuing, Lord Krishna again told Arjuna, “If however you do not perform your religious duty of fighting, then you will certainly incur sins for neglecting your duties and thus lost your reputation as a fighter”. While telling Arjuna to perform his prescribed duty as ksatriya (person who is responsible for administration), He also told the consequences of neglecting his duty. In practical it is a kind of mistake that many people do because of their incomplete knowledge of their chief duty for different situations and become a victim of regrets. At the end, people realised that he/she was wrong and now he/she is suffering as a result of his/her own work. Therefore, Lord Krishna told what the consequences would be if he run away from his ultimate duty because of his temporary love, affection and honour to his elders, brothers and gurus those who are not saying even a single word to provide justice for them and for the safety of religion; those who are the partial of injustice; to whom he considered as his own family. He will be lost everything with reputation, respect, kingdom etc. which is more painful than dead. If he dies in battle field, he will be known as hero; if he won, he will get his kingdom and able re-established justice, truth and religion; Lord Krishna tried to aware the soul of Arjuna which is a partial of super-soul. Like-wise we all should be sincere to make a decision with total awareness of the facts with pure mind; without any partiality to someone. Such work will be full of ultimate satisfaction and happiness. And neglecting such responsibilities will leads to suffering from various negative reactions and regrets because of failure in life.
To make His dearest devotee and friend Aruja clear understanding, Krishna said, “You have a right to perform your prescribed duty; you are not entitled to the fruits of your action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities and never be attached to not doing your duty”. By this Krishna tried to break the fruitve mindset of Arjuna as he is worried by thinking about the consequences of battle of Kuruksetra, where hundreds of thousands of warriors will be killing each other between brothers and family members; thousands of women will lose their husbands; children will lose their father. But Krishna told that doing one’s prescribed duty is accordingly their rights but the result of one’s work is not on his hand. He does not have rights either to prescribe the fruit of his work nor rights to deprive someone from their rights to achieved. The fruits of all acts are on the hand of God, the Supreme Being. If He does not want, you will not get anything. But doing his/her duties is as per the willingness of the God. Therefore, He asked Arjuna not to do his duty with the expectation of the fruit but do as a matter of his duty. In reality most of the people do their work for the hope of the consequences as they want. Because of such intensions of doing work if they failed to achieved they depressed and if they achieved, they become proud and ego comes into mind; they used to think I’m the winner; I’m the best of everyone. And such person failed to see everyone in equal treatment, which is not a sign of a successful person. Therefore, doing one’s duty as a matter of God’s advice without hope of the results is the best and right way of one’s perfection in life. So, Krishna forced His dearest devotee to perform his duty and said, “Perform your prescribed duty, for doing so is better than not working. One cannot even maintain one’s physical body without work”. Here, Krishna is giving an essential example that performing one’s prescribed duty is an unavoidable matter as like our physical body. To maintain our physical health, we must eat fresh and healthy food on time; must drink water; we must do physical exercise to keep our body strong and fit. If someone avoid to doing so he/she will certainly fall into sick and become a failure person in life. Similarly, in social world also, prescribed duties and responsibilities are an unavoidable work. Avoiding their duties by the administrators, bureaucrats, social servants will surely bring the destructive environment in the society. Such things are happening in Mahabharata, when the king Dhrtarastra- father of Duryodhana, and other responsible personalities like Guru Drona, Guru Kripa and Grandfather Bhisma etc. were running away from their duties and failed to stop the injustice and violence lead by Duryodhana. These were the incidents which can be seen in today’s modern societies very frequently. Officers, administrators, ministers and the elders of the society, teachers have great responsibilities for the nation building and living as Human. Failure of such responsible and powerful personalities in their prescribed duties is much more harmful for the survival of peace & harmony and prosperity of a society than common men. Therefore, it is very essential for everyone to do their respective duties- parents, guardians, elders, teachers, administrators, servants, students etc. whatever their work is in full responsibility of absolute truth.
Krishna told, “One who is in knowledge of Absolute Truth, O mighty armed, does not engage himself in the senses and sense gratification, knowing well the difference between work in devotion and work for fruitive results”. Through this text Krishna concludes that, those who have the knowledge of absolute truth, he/she know the difference between devotional work and work for results. Here, devotional work is that work which is being done with no eagerness of achieving the result, in which the result of the work is being surrendered to the Supreme Being, the God; in which it is done as a matter of God’s given duty. On the other hand, work for fruitive results is filling with various eagerness, emotional feelings and unhappiness. Such works is being done only one’s personal satisfaction of body and mind. Doer of such work is always attached with the ego, proudness and respect from others. Such person lives in this world because of physical sense gratification and tries to achieve such satisfactions by any means. They are filled with impurities and think only for themselves.
 “A self-realized man has no purpose to fulfil in the discharge of his prescribe duties, nor has he any reason not to perform such work. Nor has he any need to depend on any other living being. Therefore, without being attached to the fruits of activities, one should act as a matter of duty, for by working without attachment one attains the Supreme” Krishna said. In the entire Bhagavad Gita, Krishna repeatedly told to get rid the work with fruitive results. One should do the work as the matter of duty whatever he/she have and no attachment to the result of the action which is known as work by devotion. Because, such submission of himself/herself to God and doing prescribed duties without attachment to the fruits of works can give self-reliance, consistent, persistence and steady determination which leads to the perfection of a person. Such person has pure mind and keeps growing for ever without influenced of joy and sorrow. Devotional works will certainly give the ultimate fruit; that leads to attain the Supreme Being which is the purpose of life. But not to do by the greed of the fruits for satisfaction of senses which make a person greedy and ego and degrades the personality and the soul of a person. These are the beautiful lessons of Gita that connects us from the soul to our society.
Although Bhagavad Gita is an ancient literature, modern days cannot avoid the lights obtain from it. Still it is the guide of many great personalities. M.K. Gandhi once said about the Bhagavad Gita, “When doubts hunt me, when disappointments stare me in the face and I see not one ray of hope on the horizon, I turn to Bhagavad Gita and find a verse to comfort me; I immediately begin to smile in the midst of overwhelming sorrow. Those who mediate on the Gita will derive fresh joy and new meanings from it every day.” OM

धोरोम। धोरोमा मा ? बेखौ मानो नांगौ ? धोरोम फालियाब्ला मा जायो ? बेनि नंगुबै महरा मा ? गोरबोआव बेरखांनाय बेयो माखासे सोंलुफोर। जायनि फिननायफोरखौ गोथौयै फोरमायदों सारनित्य क्रिया बिजाबाव। जाय बिजाबाव धोरोम सोदोबनि थाथाय आरो नंगुबै मोन्दांथिनि सोमोन्दै फोरमायदों, बेयो बेसे समाइना आरो फालिनो गोनां, सैथो आरो गोथार लामा दिन्थिगिरि। जाय बिजाबा गुरुदेब कालिचरण ब्रह्मखौ सोरांनि लामा दिन्थि दोंमोन।
धोरोम। बे सोदोबा बेसेबां बेसेन गोसा, बेसेबां गोथौ आरो बेसेबां गुवार ? मा नोंथांआ माब्लाबा हारसिं सिरियै बिजिरना नायदोंना ? माब्लाबा नोंथांनि गोसोआव बेबायदि सोंलुफोर बेरखांदोंना ? बेरखाङाखैब्ला बे रायथाइनि गेजेरजों धोरोमा नोंथांनि गोसोआव जायगा मोनगोन, बेयो आंनि मिजिं। आरो माब्लाबा धोरोमनि सोमोन्दै बिजिरफेरदोंब्ला, बेयो नोंथांनि बेसेबां आंगो ? नोंथाङा धोरोमखौ बेसेबां आंगो खालामनो हादों ? बेखौबो गावनो बिजिरोब्ला मोजां जागोन। मानोना बेफोर सोंलुआ नोंथांनि गोसोआव जायगा मोनबायब्ला बेनि फिन्नायआबो थारैनो थाथारगोन।
नोंथांनि गोसोआव धोरोमा माबायदि महर मोन्दों नोंथांआसो मोजाङै मिथिगोन। आं आंनिआव माबायदि महर मोन्दों आं मिथिगोन। आंनि गोसोआव जायगा मोननाय बै समायना, सैथो धोरोमखौ आं नोंथांनो फोरमायदिनि- माखासे धोरोमारि बिजाब आरो गेदेमा धोरोम गुरु आफामोननि फोरोंनाय आरो आसि दिन्थिनायजों दाफुंजानाय बै धोरोमा जोबोर समायना, जौसिन सैथो, गोथौसिन सानस्रि गोनां आरो आबुङै फालिनो गोनां। जाय धोरोमाव जोनोमनि आरो जिउनि थांखि, मावनांगौ हाबानि गियान आरो जिउनि जाफुंसारनाय बायदिफोरा हाबनानै दं।
अगियान महरै जोनोम मोननानै सुबुङा मिथिंगानि, हादोरनि, समाजनि आरो न’खरनि बायदि रोखोम थासारिजों देरबोयो। बिमा-बिफाजों लोगोसे न’खरनि देरसिन सुबुं आरो समाजनि दैदेनगिरिफोरनि आसार आखुनि गोहोमजों सासे उन्दै गथ’साया गावनि आथिंआव गसंनो बिग्रायखांनाय लाइमोन जिउ मोनफैयो। बेनि उनाव समजों लोगोसे जिउखुंनानै सानसे समाव रुंसारि जालाङो। लाइमोन जिउसिम सासे गथ’साया जाय थासारि आरो जाथाइफोरजों मोगा-मोगि जानानै देरबोदों, बेनि सायावनो बै सुबुंनि इयुनाबो सोनारो। आरो बेयावनो समाजनि इयुनाबो सोनारो। इयुननि महरा माबायदि जागोन- बेयो बै समाज, न’खर आरो हादोरनि देरसिन सुबुंफोरनि गोसो आरो मावबोनाय हाबाफोराव बेसेबां धोरोमा लोब्बा जानानै दं बेयो सोनारो। मानोना जेबो रोङै गथसाखौ बेसोरनो फोरोंगोन, लामा दिन्थिनानै होगोन। सासे गथ’सानि गोसोआरि, मेलेमारि, सोलेरारि आरो आखल-आखुजों लोगोसे सुबुंथियारि गुनफोरा थोंजोङै बिनि सोरगिदिं मिथिंगायारि आरो समाजारि थासारिआवनो गोबांसिनै सोनारो। आरो बे थासारिआनो बेनि बिथा जानानै थायो। बेनिखायनो संसारनि सुखु गोजोननि बाथ्राया जोनोमनिफ्राइ रुंसारि जाजासिमनि गासै थाखोनि सुबुंनि बैसो, धोनि-गोरिब, गोरों-रोङै गासैजोंनो लोब्बा जानानै दं। बे समाव नोंथाङा धोरोमनि महरा मा जानो हागौ इसे सानहाबदोंना? आं फोरमायनि- धोरोमा मोनसे खान्थि, जायनि दारै बे मुलुग-संसारा गोजोन आरो गेबेङै थांनानै थायो आरो रैखा मोनो (सा. क्रि.)। बे खान्थि आव हाबनानै दं सुबुंनि जिउनिथांखि आरो मावनांगौ हाबा। समाजनि गेदेमा सुबुंफोरा धोरोमनि बे गोथार बोसोनफोरखौ फालियालासे गावनि थासारिनि मुखा गाननानै आनज्रायनानै थायोब्ला समाजनि-गावनि जोबस्रांनायनि जाहोनखौ सोरजिनानै लागोन। बेखौनो अधोरोम बुंनाय जायो। जाय समाजआव गेदेमा सुबुंफोरनि सिगांआव गोग्गायै अधोरोमा जायगा मोनो, बे समाजा गावनि जोबस्रांनायखौ बरायनानै लायो। जाहोनाव महाभारतनि कुरुक्षत्र बायदि गिख्रंथाव दावहाया जादोंमोन-जेराव भिष्म, द्रोणाचार्य, क्रिपाचार्य, महाराजा धृतराष्ट्र मोनबायदि गेदेमा सुबुंफोरा गाव गावनि गोसोनि जाफुंनायनि थाखाय धोरोमनि अलखद समावबो सिरियै नोजोरबोआरि जानानैल’ थानायनि थाखायनो। गोबांखेब खावलायनायावबो अगियान महरनि महाराजा धृतराष्ट्रआ सैथोखौ नुनो हायाखैमोन आरो न’खरनि सुबुंनोनो न्याय होआलासे थादोंमोन- गावनि गोसोनि जाफुंनाय आरो फिसाज्ला अनफावरि गोसोनि बोख्लेंनायजों गोदोसोनानै धोरोमनि हाबाखौबो रेजें साननानै लादोंमोन। अधोरोमखौ मिथिनानैबो बोजबनो गोसो गैयामोन आरो गावनि मावनांगौ हाबानिफ्राइ गोजान जाना थादोंमोन। मुंआवल’ बयखौबो समान अननायानि बाथ्रा बुंदोंमोन। असैथोखौनो गावनि धोरोम सानफ्लांदोंमोन।
सासे सुबुंआ मुवायारि सोलेरजों लोगोसे जोबस्रां रोङै महरनि जिउजों गोथां जानानै थायो। मुवायारि सोलेर गोनां बे जिउनो सोलेर फोथांनानै लाखिनो थाखाय आदारनि गोनांथि जायो। बे मुवायारि सोलेरनि थाखायनो गोसोआ सोमजिखाङो, जेराव सोलेरनि मोनबा गियान अंगफोरा लोब्बा जाफानानै दङ। सोलेरारि आयदानि गासैबो रादाबफोरा गोसोआव बेरखां फैयो। लोगोसे जोबस्रां रोङै जिउआबो बे गोसोआवनो जाखांफैयो। गीतायाव बेखौनो गंसे गराइ गारिजों फोरमायदों जेराव गारि सालायग्रा सारथिखौ गोसो आरो बेयाव गाखोनानै थानाय बिगोमाखौ जिउजों फोरमाइदों। जायनि जिउआ उन्दुनानै थायो बे सुबुंनि गोसोआ जायखौ लुगैदों बेखौनो मावो जेरै सारथिआ गोसोबायदि सालायो। सुबुंनि थाखाय गावनि गोसोखौ दबथायनाया बयनिबो थाखाय गोरलै नङा। बेनिथाखाय गोबां नाजानाय थानांगोन। जेराव माब्लाबा गोसो आरो जिउनि (आत्मा) गेजेराव दावहाबो जायो। गोसोनि बे दावहायाव जाय देरहागोन बेबायदिनो महर मोनगोन बे सुबुंनि बिजिरनाय आरो हाबाफोरा। गुबुन नोजोरजों गोसो सिंआव जानाय बे दावहाया धोरोम-अधोरोम, सैथो-असैथो, न्याय आरो अन्यायनि गेजेराव जानाय मोनसे दावहा। सुबुंनि गोसोआ सोलेरारि आरो मिथिंगायारि गोहोनिफ्राय बेरखांफैयो- जाय अराइथा नङा। बिनिखायनो बेयो असैथो । मुवारारि सोलेरखौ गोथां महर होगिरि बै जिउआसो सैथो आरो अराइथा जोबस्रां रोङै। थुंगेनाय गैयै। जायनि जिउआ सिरिमोननानै थागोन बियो अगियान महरनि गोसोखौबो धोरोमनि लामायाव लाबोगोन। आरो जायनि गोसोआ मिथिंगानि मुवायारि बोगथाबनाय आरो सोलेरारि गोजोननायआव नांथाबनानै गोग्लसोनाय, बियो अधोरोमनि लामाखौसो माजां मोनो। गोसोनि बायगर आखुखौ सामलायनो हायोब्ला बेयो सासे सुबुंनि बयनिख्रुइबो साबसिन लोगो आरो जुदि सामलाइनो हायाब्ला लोगोसेयैनो देरसिन सुथुरबो (गीता)। गोसोखौ दबथाइनो हायाब्लानो दुखु मोननाङो। आरो गावनि गोसोखौ दबथाइनानै मावनांगौ हाबाखौ आबुङै बावसोमनायजों मावफुंनो नाजानायानो धोरोमनि हाबा।
संसाराव जोनोम मोननाय सासे सुबुंहा मा थांखि दं- बेनि सोमोन्दै नोंथांआ मा मिथिगौ ? जुदि गोबांद्राय गोथौनि बाथ्राखौ मिथियाब्लाबो गावनि, न’खरनि, समाजनि, हारिनि, हादोरनि मोजां हाबा मावनांगौ, बेखिनिखौ मिथिथारगोन। बेफोरबो धोरोमनि बोसोनजों मावनां हाबाफोर जाय नोंथांनि जिउनि जाफुंसारनायनि थाखाय गोनां। बयनिख्रुइबो गोथारसिन आरो मावथारनो गोनां नंगुबै हाबाया जाबाय-गोसोनि फिथाइआरि हाबिलाफोरखौ एंगारनानै गोरबो बावसोमनाय सानथिजों गावनि मावनांगौ हाबाखौ इसोरनि बोसोन साननानै मावनाय। बेनिख्रुइ देरसिन हाबा जेबो गैया। जाय हाबाया जिउ मोनसेखौ जिउमाजों लोगो मोनहोयो।
जिउनि हान्थिनाय लामायाव गोबां हाबाफोरखौ मावनो थाखाय मावनां हाबानि गियान थानांगौ। जायफोरखौ सम आरो थासारिजों गोरोबनानै मावफुंनो नांगौ। माब्लाबा गोसोआव एबा थासारिआ एरैबादि जायो जेराव मोनसे धोरोमनि हाबाखौ मावफुंब्ला गुबुन मोनसेखौ अधोरोम खालामनाय जायो। बे समाव सुबुंआ मिथिनांगोनदि बे समाव बिनि सिगांग्रो मावनांगौ हाबाया मा। बेयो मिथिनांगोनदि- सासे सुबुं एबा मासे दाय गैयै जिबखौ साजा होनाया अधोरोम नाथाइ दायगोनां सुबुं एबा जिबखौ खान्थि बायदियै साजा होनाया धोरोमनि हाबा। सम आरो थासारि बायदियै मावनांगौ हाबाखौ फिथाइनि हाबिला गैयालासे मावफुंनायाव जिउनि जाफुंसारनाय दं। गोसोआरि सानबोलावरिफोरा गोबां समाव सासे सुबुंखौ गावनि मावनांगौ हाबानिफ्राय जानगार होनो नाजायो आरो सुबुंनि गोसोखौ लोरबां खालामो। बे समाव गावनि मावनांगौ हाबाखौ मोजाङै सिनायनाया गोनां। गावनि मावनांगौ हाबाखौ सिनायनो हायाब्लानो गोरोन्थिखौ मावफ्लाङो आरो गोरोन्थि हाबानि थाखायनो उनदाहा जानाङो। नाथाइ जाय सुबुङा सिगांआवनो गोरोन्थिखौ नुखायो बियो माब्लाबाबो बेबादि हाबा मावा जायनिथाखाय उनदाहा जानो गोनां जायो। बिनिखायनो गोथार गोसोजों सैथोखौ बोजबनानै लानांगौ आरो गावनि मावनां हाबानिफ्राइ गोजान जानो नाङा। धोरोमनि रैखानि थाखाय गावखौ बावसोमनायनिख्रुइ देसिन जेबो हाबा गैया।
नाथाइ मुंआवल’ धोरोम आरो सोरनिबा नारसिननायाव, माबा फिथाइ लुगैनानै धोरोमनि हाबा मावनाया धोरोम जाया। बेखौ जाफ्लानाय होननानैसो बुङो। सासे सुबुंआ जेखौखि धोरोमनि हाबा मावा मानो जुदि गावनि गोसोखौ दबथाइनो हायाब्ला बेयो आबुं जाया। अगियान सुबुंफोरा गावखौनो गोगगानानै लायो आरो इसोरखौसो दायनिगिरि सानो। जेराव गाव जेबोखौनो सारजिनो हाया। सुबुंआ गावनि हाबाखौ मावनायनि थाखाय मोनथाइ दं; नाथाइ बेनि फिथाइनि सायाव नङा। फिथाइखौ इसोरासो होगोन।  मोजां हाबा मावोब्ला थारैनो फिथाइखौबो मोनगोन। जेरै हाबा एरै फिथाइ। बेनिखायनो सासे सुबुंआ फिथाइनि हाबिलाखौ नागारनानै गावनि मावनांगौ हाबा साननानैसो मावनांगौ।
बे संसारनि मोनसेल’ सैथोआ जाबाय धोरोम –जाय बयनिबो आंगो। गुबुनफोरा मुंआवल’ धोरोम आरो अराइथा नङा।  धोरोमा बेनिखायनो मोनसे खान्थि, जाय सुबुंनो सुखु-गोजोन होनो हायो। जाय सैथोखौ दिन्थिनानै होनो हायो। जाय सुबुंनो न्याय होनो हायो। जाय सैथो, गोथार आरो गोथां। जाय सुबुंनि गोरबोआव नंगुबैखौ बोजबनो आरो मावफुंनो थाखाइ गियान बेरखांहोनो हायो, जाय गोसोनि खोमसिखौ जोबस्रां होनानै सैथो आरो गोथार गियान सोमजिहोनो हायो। जेराव सैथो गियान बेरखांनानै आत्मानि जौगानाय जायो। जाय सुखु-दुखु आव समानै बाहागो लायो। जेराव खैफोदआव गोग्लैनायखौ मदद खालामनाय, अगियानखौ सैथो गियाननि सोलोंथाइ होनाय, जिब-जुनातफोरखौ अननाय आरो गोसो-गोरबो-सोलेरजों लोगोसे सोरगिदिं मिथिंगाखौ गोथार, थाजिम आरो साखोन-सिखोन लाखिनायनि सानस्रि दं। जाय हाबानि दारै मुगुननि मोजां जायो। बेनो सैथो धोरोम। बे धोरोमनि बेखेवथिआ जोबनो गैया, फोरमायनानै फोजोबनो हाया। जाय बे धोरोमखौ गोथौ गोरबोजों मोन्दांनानै आंगो खालामनो हादों बेयो सासे गेदेमा सुबुं। नाथाइ जाय सैथो धोरोमनि मुखा गाननानै गोगगानायजों हाबा मावो बेयो सासे फोथाइखेबस’ सुबुं। बेयो धोरोमखौ मिथिनानैबो गोबां खेब गोसोनि बोख्लेंनायाव आन्दाय बायो। असैथोखौ सैथो, अन्यायखौ न्याय आरो अधोरोमखौ धोरोम साननानै लायो। मानोना बेयो सोलेरारि आरो मुवायारि गोजोननायनि बोगथाबनायनिफ्राय आबुङै उदां जानो हायाखै। बे बादि सुबुंनि गियानआ आस’खान्दा। आरो आस’खान्दा गियानआ खैफोदगोनां। बेनिखायनो नंगुबै धोरोमखौ सिनायनानै आरो गोरबोजों मोन्दांनानै हाबा मावनाय बायदि मोजां जेबो गैया। ॐ ||
